Tahltan Outfitters Stone’s Sheep hunts are twelve day exclusive horseback excursions. The expert crew will take clients on the hunt of a lifetime through breathtaking valleys and over stunning mountain terrain to their dream ram.
Canadian Moose
Tahltan Outfitters guided British Columbia Canadian Moose and Mountain Caribou hunts are ten day exclusive horseback excursions. Our skilled guides and horses are an exceptional team bringing together classic old style hunts season after season. The average Moose harvested weighs 1,500 lbs and measures 55" with 60"+ bulls being harvested each season.
Mountain Caribou
Tahltan Outfitters area hosts one of the largest, healthiest herds of Mountain Caribou in British Columbia.
Research shows that the herd roaming through the area consists of 1,500 plus animals.
Hunters have reported that they have seen groups consisting of up to 700 animals. The Mountain Caribou that are harvested are healthy, large animals with an average Boone & Crocket score of 380+.
Mountain Goat
Mountain Goat are offered as a Goat only horseback hunt during the early season but can also be added on to our Stone's Sheep hunts on harvest fee basis.
Mountain Goat hunts require extreme physical endurance and can be very strenuous – this makes it all the more rewarding when you take your big billy in the picturesque mountains our area has to offer.
Mountain Grizzly
Tahltan Outfitters offers top notch Mountain Grizzly Bear hunts. The Grizzly Bear found in the area of Tahltan Outfitters on average range in weight from 400 to 1,000 lbs. They range in color from golden brown, to a dark brown with white tipped fur. Their lifespan is fifteen to thirty four years.
Wolf
Wolf are found throughout the entire area of Tahltan Outfitters so they can be harvested during Sheep, Moose, and Caribou hunts. Stay tuned for winter wolf hunts!

Boat Hunt
Tahltan Outfitters Boat hunts on the many lakes the area has to offer are the perfect alternative to those who prefer to stay away from the horses, or are looking for a less strenuous hunt.
Trapline
Join us for an epic adventure during the winter months! Our new trapline hunts are done by snowmobile and offer opportunities for big wolf, wolverines, lynx, and marten!
